Dezi

Breed: Beagle

Weight: 20 lbs

Age: 2-3 years

Sex: Male

Intake Date: 11/23/2018

DOB: unknown

Dezi was found abandoned behind a house along with another beagle. Now that he has been with us for a little while, we are starting to get a glimpse of the personality that is hidden in this gem of a dog. And while we may not know everything, what is already clear (and is true of the breed in general) is this guy is super sweet. After he gets to know you and some trust has been established, he is like a different dog: head held high, wagging tail and ready to go on adventures or just settle down for a snuggle in the blankets. He is great with other dogs and when he's with his playgroup, his confidence also shines.

House trained: 90% (he will need a little help getting to 100%)

Crate trained: Yes; however, needs to be coaxed with a Kong filled with delicious goodies.

Children: Best in a home with older children

Cats: Unknown

Dogs: Good with other dogs. Dezi would benefit from having another dog in the home in order to help build his confidence; however this is not mandatory.
