Animal Aid Society is a limited intake shelter, which means that we can only take dogs as space allows. There is no fee to surrender a dog.
ANNOUNCEMENT: We have temporarily suspended intakes. We anticipate being able to accept new dogs after 10/20/2022. If you are in need of placement prior to this date, please click the link below to be taken to a list of organizations that serve Hampton Roads who may be able to help. If you are still in need of assistance placing your dog after 10/20/2022, please come back and submit a surrender request at that time.
