Friendly and playful; this young man came in with Blackjack the Blue Tick Coon Hound. The man that surrendered them had originally intended to use them as hunting dogs so they have not had any kind of "inside" time but are transitioning to shelter life quite well.

Beagles are smart, affectionate, curious, friendly and playful. They are ideal family pets because of their size, groom-ability, and generally easy going nature with children. These smaller sized dogs are full of energy, and benefit from an active family with a yard where they can run around and explore. This breed loves constant activity, all the sights and smells the outdoors have to offer and will keep you laughing with their antics.
